GHT OVERVIEW
Green Hydrotec (GHT) was established in May 2000, to create on-site hydrogen production and purification applications as the starting point. The core technology in catalysis, combustion, material and reactor design for the development of on-site hydrogen production technology and facility to avoid expensive and risky hydrogen supply in compression, shipment and storage of high pressure for hydrogen supply.
GHT converts methanol to hydrogen (Methanol – the ideal material for storing hydrogen), immune to the need of natural gas pipeline restriction, to reduce the investment cost, to lower the reaction temperature and to simplified the process. Over the past 20 years, GHT team has focused on three key areas: core technologies in catalysts heating, materials, and reformer design; and the development and application of high-efficiency methanol steam reformers for hydrogen production.
GHT, methanol hydrogen generation technology is modular, scalable, mobile, and economical. It can produce hydrogen anytime and anywhere. We have obtained numerous patents for our unique on-site hydrogen production technology and equipment. This technology provides a safe, stable, and cost-effective source of hydrogen for fuel cell power generation and various industries, including the chemical industry, electronics industry, and metallurgy industry.
CORE TECHNOLOGY
Central to the GHT core technology and product development is the onsite production of hydrogen and the related technology, namely, compact in size, simple and safe in operation and high efficiency to save cost.
The operation heating is based on GHT’s proprietary oxidation catalyst, PBN for rapid start of combustion with fuel such methanol, hydrogen or other combustible compounds and air are brought into contact with the PBN catalyst, it start up rapid heating. GHT has used it to heat up all reactors; this enables the compacting of reactor size and the efficient transfer of heat to the catalyst bed and makes possible an 88-92% thermal efficiency of the reactor.
That the capability of GHT to design various compact high efficient methanol reformers as hydrogen generators with different hydrogen quality and quantity to suit various needs constitutes GHT’s strength today in hydrogen technology and hydrogen product for marketing.
