GHM-series Hydrogen Generator

Hydrogen generator (GHM-XXCMH5N series) use methanol as raw material to produce syn-gas, purified by PSA, to produce high-purity hydrogen. The product is widely used in industries such as steel, chemical industry, metal smelting, powder metallurgy, electronics, fuel cells, environmental protection, and new energy.

According to the different needs of users, the purity of the product hydrogen can be between 99vol% and 99.999vol%, and typical product pressures from 0.1MPaG to 0.3MPaG.

GHT converts methanol to hydrogen (Methanol – the ideal material for storing hydrogen), immune to the need of natural gas pipeline restriction, to reduce the investment cost, to lower the reaction temperature and to simplified the process.

Why use methanol to produce hydrogen?

Methanol is an excellent carrier of hydrogen energy. Compared with hydrogen, methanol has higher energy density and is safe for storage and transportation, thus it has been rapidly promoted in recent years. Producing low-carbon hydrogen through green methanol promotes the reduction of carbon emissions.

Advantages:

1. A proprietary oxidation catalyst for catalytic heating in all GHT reactors to achieve compact and high efficient heating with flameless and NOx-free heating. The hydrogen production will keep its operating temperature extremely stable and can be restarted at short notice.
2. Unique reformer design with high heat transfer capability, design for long lifetime, fast start. The methanol reformer is heated by oxidation catalyst buffering any temperature peaks. This helps to protect the catalyst for the complete lifetime.
3. Hydrogen high quality.
